Welcome to the Artyarn Use The City project blog.

Over the next few weeks we will be updating this blog with all of our project activities taking place in the city of Kosice, Slovakia.

For our arrival in Kosice we have been making some yarn bombing pieces back in the UK. On our first days in Kosice we will be installing these around the city, putting our knitting mark on the local community. We will then me making a public presentation about our past work, how other artist use contemporary knitting and crochet techniques in visual arts projects and informing the audience of our project for the Use The City festival which takes place in May. We will then be delivering a weekend workshop for local artists wishing to take part in our project.
